Description

This course introduces students to the basic principles of game engine development. Topics include vector math, collision detection, 2D sprite animation, rendering, video game physics, particle systems, and user interfaces. Students create a functional game engine using a game industry standard programming language, then use this game engine to create a functional game at the end of the semester.
