CDAN230 - 01 - Drawn to Comics

Comics weave their way through many realms- as personal story, as poem, as play. Narratives emerge from lived experiences, truth and fiction live together in the same work. Through working in both traditional 4-panel structures and more experimental comic forms -including animated comics- color, pacing, composition, and writing are addressed. The semester's work culminates in students making and printing their own short zine.
