Description

The storyboard is the first directorial step going from script to screen- from concept to form. Storyboarding requires critical decisions that will establish the point of view, tone, pace, and the look of any film, short, or episode. The primary objective of this course is for each student to develop fluency in the medium of the narrative moving image. Through class exercises and viewings, weekly assignments, and a longer-form final project, students will develop an understanding of sequential concept art and basic storyboarding methods.
