Description

This is a cross-disciplinary course that allows you to dive into multiple mediums and explore a range of materials over the course of one semester. Team-taught by multiple faculty, this class is a way to experience multiple areas within 3D (glass, sculpture, Jewelry & Metals, Fibers and Ceramics) to see which medium ignites your creative potential. Over the course of one semester you will migrate between three areas in 3D and learn techniques, material history and methods of making in each area. This is a perfect course for anyone who wants to explore, experiment or would simply like to try a few different mediums before choosing an area of focus. In addition to material exploration, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with multiple teachers over the course of the semester.
