3DML200 - 01 - Beginning Jewelry

An introduction to basic issues and techniques unique to jewelry as a creative and expressive medium. Students discuss traditional and contemporary attitudes toward body adornment and learn the techniques of basic fabrication (cold-joining, sawing, soldering, finishing), lost-wax casting, and stone setting.
