Description

(RICT) RI Christian Tradition (RCT) RT Christian Tradition

This survey course will address the major historical, theological and doctrinal developments in the 2,000-year-long history of the Christian Church. Special attention will be given to most influential turning points and to the recurring tension between those who tried to accommodate the Christian message to the surrounding culture in order to make it more socially relevant, and those who interpreted the role of Christianity as a witness against the prevailing cultures values and expectations.
