This course teaches students about the planning and management of sports events using a strategic and systematic approach based on the Event Management Body of Knowledge model. Topics covered include project management, managing facilities, logistics, risk management, sustainability, sponsorship, human resources, and contracts. Students will learn through case studies, readings, discussions, lectures, and assignments.
