(LI) Literary Inquiry (DM) Diversity & Multiculturalism

This course offers an introduction to Chicano literature, examining key texts and authors that explore the experiences, struggles, and cultural identity of Mexican Americans in the U.S. We will analyze issues of race, identity, immigration, language, and social justice as represented in Chicano literature. Readings will include novels, short stories, poetry, and essays.
