Description

This course will provide an introduction to the field of epidemiology with a focus on global and public health issues. By the end of the course, students will understand a brief history of epidemiology and the current day role of epidemiologists. The course will review major epidemiological concepts beginning with disease transmission, moving to epidemiological data collection and evaluations, and ending with discussions about the role of epidemiology in program evaluation and policies.
