FINAN3366 - 01 - Portfolio Management

Students will develop and understanding of the portfolio management process. Emphasis will be on equities and will include discussions on fixed income securities. In this course the students will simulate a real world management process covering the research and analysis of individual securities, formulation of these securities into portfolios and the use of derivative securities to modify the risk /return profile of the portfolio. For those students who are Finance majors and/or planning to take Financial Modeling (FINAN 4303), it isr ecommended that this course be taken concurrently.
