ART3531 - 01 - Stories in Motion: Digital Video Studio

Stories in Motion Studio(SMS) is an introduction to the confluence of literary and visual arts. Students will create various digital video projects combining studentauthored short stories,literary adaptations and journalistic inquiry as core content - with the visual and conceptual foundations of a cinematic view and rhythm of visual sequence editing to create a handful of short video projects. SMS reviews primary texts and screenings of cinematic masters work with an emphasis on the Short Film genre. The course cuminates in a teamdeveloped,final project that is inclusive of the course's theoretical, lyrical and practical core content.
