(VCI) Visual & Creative Inquiry

This course will introduce intermediate hand building techniques in both sculptural and functional applications of ceramic art. A variety of forms such as sculpture, installation and tableware will be explored in the course. The following techniques will be introduced: wheel throwing, plaster mold making, slip casting, and printmaking (on clay) and digital applications to clay.
